Students at Alice Deal Middle School in Washington D.C. got a surprise visit from a most unusual military veteran, former Marine Sgt. John Peck who served and was wounded in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The quadruple amputee told the sixth-graders that one day he simply decided to stop feeling sorry for himself and from then on he became a happy person.
